Each day can be a unique experience with learning, recreation and dutiful obligations in support of a senior-aged client. The companion role will involve casual and professional assistance for the client. The role could extend to support with lifestyle tasks including but not limited to shopping, driving, domestic tasks and preparation of medical needs. Companionship may also entail simply accompanying the client in their leisure time. The coordination of creation activities for social engagement and mental health provide the client an enhanced level of comfort and support. Strong interpersonal communication skills are required for the position, and basic medical care like CPR and knowledge of medications is a plus.
