Safety is a state of being and a state of mind. Ensure the security of the “state” by maintaining supervision of the daily routine of the household, scanning the community and express situational awareness and general vigilance. Coordination with contractors and staff will be required to ensure the normalcy of daily affairs and allow secure access to facilities. Recommendations and application of security tools can be integrated by the specialist. Monitoring the in-home camera and alarm systems and patrolling the grounds falls within the scope of responsibilities. Emergency management, travel coordination and disaster preparation are additional roles that the candidate can fulfill. Candidates will have a background in criminal justice and/or personal security.
